A Message to Our Clients About the Coronavirus

As the news about the Coronavirus continues to develop, we would like to share with you the latest measures we are taking to keep our clients, partners and employees safe in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. In an effort to better safeguard the health and wellbeing of our clients, partners and employees: our headquartered secure storage facility will continue to operate under a condensed business schedule.
Effective Thursday, June 11, 2020 through Friday, June 26, 2020: we will be open daily from 12pm to 3pm EST, Monday through Thursday; and 9am to 6pm EST on Friday and Saturday. Appointments are strongly preferred on all days. Our 24-Hour Emergency Access option will continue to be available (by appointment only), and appointments must be scheduled at least three hours in advance.
We ask for your patience and understanding as we adjust the client experience to adapt to the ever-changing landscape.

Commonwealth Vault is closely monitoring the recent outbreak of COVID-19 as dozens of new cases have been reported in VA, MD and DC. We’re taking the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our clients, partners and employees. We’re currently navigating through the science-based information and recommendations provided by health officials and government authorities including the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Our Response to the Outbreak
As of now, our headquartered secure storage facility is operating under normal business hours (9am to 6pm, Monday through Saturday). We will provide updates through our company’s social media pages (Twitter and Facebook) if we are directed by public health officials and/or the discretion of our leadership to adjust our operating hours or temporarily close.
For now, our employees are taking additional health precautions within the working environment and are being urged to stay home if they have any symptoms of an illness.
"One Party Policy" Strictly Enforced Effective Immediately
In order to ensure the safety of our clients, partners and employees, we will be strictly enforcing our “One Party Policy” until further notice. No more than one authorized request into our facility will be granted at any time. In addition, we strongly encourage our partners and clients who exhibit flu-like symptoms to stay home and refrain from requesting access into our facility.

We will continue to monitor this situation and adjust our protocol as necessary. We will update you on any plans or changes as new information is made available. Most of all, we will continue to work with you to ensure all your secure storage needs are met, and to accommodate any special circumstances.
